About PELINDO II

PT (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II (PELINDO II) is a state-owned enterprise, which operates 12 of Indonesia’s largest ports in 10 provinces. This includes Tanjung Priok, the biggest and busiest port in Indonesia. Apart from that PELINDO II has subsidiaries and affiliates such as PT. Jakarta International Container Terminal, Terminal Petikemas Koja, PT. Electronic Data Interchange, PT. Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan and PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia.

Jakarta International Container Terminal

In April 1999, Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) was formed to operate Container Terminals 1 and 2 at the Tanjung Priok Seaport. Prior to that Container Terminals 1 and 2 was a full subsidiary of PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II and started its first operation in 1978. JICT is a joint venture between Hutchison Port Holdings and PT. (Persero) Pelabuhan Indonesia II.

JICT covers a total of 100 hectares and is the largest container terminal in Indonesia. JICT handles more than 1.7 million TEUs (Twenty foot Equivalent Units) and is strategically located at the industrial heartland of West Java.
To anticipate the future growth in the nation's economy, JICT is in development of an additional 29.3 hectares of land to serve the container traffic that flows in and out of Indonesia.

JICT is accredited to ISO 9002 standards and aims to provide excellent services through the dedication of our experienced workforce and the application of the latest cutting edge technology.

Besides the pioneer of 100% sterile Terminal that endow with security, safety and clean in every line of its environment, JICT provides quality services to more than 20 shipping lines with direct routes to more than 25 countries and is committed to providing fast, efficient and reliable services 24 hours a day, all year round.
